Exploring Art Without Bias or Concern

Our Story

What We Do

We are an Art Historian and Artist duo aiming to create accessible art content and lessons for the public.

Our resident Art Historian is Mary Hazel Ceniza. She is a graduate of Marist College with a Bachelor's in Art History with a minor in Studio Art. Floundering between the gallery and nonprofit world, she simply finds happiness in connecting with others through art. In her spare time, she paints (primarily in gouache), indulges in her wine connoisseurship and enjoys the outdoors. Her favorite art movements are Rococo and Post-Impressionism.

Our resident Artist is Javelin Manansala. In 2020, she gained her BFA in Visual Arts with a minor in Psychology from Ramapo College. Her medium of choice is oil paint, where the subject of her work is heavily inspired by the psyche. Combining her passion for psychology and art, she hopes to pursue a career in art therapy in the coming years. Outside of her studies, Javelin finds solace in cooking and being in nature. Her favorite art periods are Post-Impressionism and Surrealism.

We provide history and art lessons through our blog, Instagram, and TikTok. Attempting to make the arts more "people-friendly" and dispel all notions of ivory tower syndrome, we hope to encourage the public to dive into the art world and not feel intimidated. The arts were meant for everyone's enjoyment!
